What you will do


Manage the supply, storage, transport and distribution of equipment, materials and goods used and produced by the company. Activities includematerials control and planning; managingsupplier relationships; logistics and supply-chain management; purchasing; and inventory control. Ensuresall products and services are procured on time with right quality at most competitive value.


Execute day-to-day transactions including Purchase Orders. Responsible for ensuring delivery of products or services to internal customers (i.e. requisitioners, factories, etc.). In some cases, manages local supplier sourcing & selection, including pricing negotiation and contract management. Responsible for aligning with local business activity and coordinating with Commodity Management structure to drive centralized supply and supplier activities.





How you will do it


  • Ensures processesand procedures are performed in a compliant manner (DOA, lead times, purchaserequisitions).

  • Generates orders in accordance with ERP/MRP and/orcustomer requirements.

  • Processes requisitions through to purchaseorders, as requiredfor indirect materials or service requirements.

  • Procures certaingoods or services, as required by business, at the right time and at a competitive price inthe right quantity.

  • Manages daily systems, processes, and procedures governingthe end-to-end processfor procurement of materials from the right suppliers at the right price, quality, and delivery requirements.

  • Manages all supplier non-conformances and obtains preventative actions.

  • Provides information and statistics with regard to purchasing activities.

  • Ensures compliance with the 3 quoteor 3 quote exemption form processto support indirect or regionally based purchases.

  • Establishes and maintains effective relationships with the company's suppliers in accordance with the ethical code and standardsof conduct, maintaining the highest level of professionalism.

  • Issues RFQ and analysesresponses for Total Cost of Ownership, for specific regionalrequirements.

  • Works on issues of moderate scope, and exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.

  • Provides analytics as required to include impactof changes on price, FX, waterfall analysis, overall activity levels,and savings tracking.


What we look for:


  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (Supply Chain, Logistics, and Operations Management) preferred.

  • One to three years of manufacturing experience in planning or purchasing.

  • Proficiency in Excel.

  • Understanding of MRP and ERP systems and multi-plant relationships.

  • Oracle experience is a plus.

  • Able to communicate clearly and promptly to avoid confusion and misunderstanding.

  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and hold others accountable.

  • Able to balance the needs of the organization with the needs of the customer.

  • Can monitor and analyze progress to make and/or recommend changes as required.

  • Ability to utilize reasoning and planning to understand a problem situation and implement corrective actions.
