General Summary

Responsible for supporting the development of Pepperidge Farm Supply Chain IT Applications. Charged with aiding in the strategic evolution, design and implementation of industry best practice systems, software and tools to maximize Supply Chain performance and Total Delivered Cost (TDC). This role involves supporting the supply chain planning team in direction and management of Supply Chain planning information - including oversight of the creation, collection, processing, storage and all interfaces. In addition, this person will be responsible for ensuring the data integrity of the IT applications, putting processes and procedures in place to continuously improve the quality and timeliness of the systems and reports. This role will work closely with the Corporate and Plant planning teams, acting as the 'hub' for user issues, problem solving, system training, system set-up optimization and systems project management. This person will support new initiatives, requiring travel to launch and train each tool in the plants. This role will be responsible for directing and working closely with the IT organization to identify and enable continued system improvements, technical/ service centre support and strategic direction with Campbell Soup Company.



Principle accountabilities

* 35% Manugistics & SAP System optimization, issue logging and resolution, system enhancements and training

* 25% Supply Chain IT process improvement, standard operating procedures (SOPs), implementing new tools and reports

* 20% Supply Chain systems strategy, IT project proposals, project planning & implementation

* 10% Data management, master data controls, approvals and audit

* 10% Materials management (MRP) optimization with the Plants - driving system compliance & TDC benefit

Job Complexity

* Support systems and processes for Supply Planning team

* Understand and roles & responsibilities for Plant Planners and Supply Planners. Work with Planning Director to Implementation of best in class planning processes

* Support Supply Chain KPIs

* Development and communication of Supply Chain reports (WOS, Cuts)

* Training coordination (SAP, Manugistics, Envision)

* Aid in data Analysis (SKU optimization and network moves; daily SAP and Manugistics queries

* Deal with multiple stakeholders and clients - requiring good prioritization and communication.

* Will be necessary to communicate at multiple levels - appropriate for different audiences (technical and managerial)

* Will be required to employ a continuous improvement philosophy, educating different skill levels to achieve process improvement.

* Manage data integrity for the Supply Chain, requiring strict process control and business wide adherence.

* Liaise with Campbell Supply Chain on strategic IT platforms, joint work teams and synergies.

* Work with external vendors, negotiate on payments and terms, manage license arrangements and ongoing vendor relationships.

* Liaising with external Distribution Centres (DCs), 3rd Party Logistics Providers and Campbells regarding data interfaces and EDI feeds.



Job Requirements

* Minimum education required: MSc with focus on computers, IT systems, management science &/or Logistics- Supply Chain.

* Years of relevant experience: 3+ years of experience in Demand/Production Planning and Systems.

* Knowledge, skills and abilities required:

* Detailed knowledge of supply chain information flows.

* Experienced user of Manugistics, SAP and Supply Chain software systems.

* Experience in a high SKU driven consumer product production environment.

* Strong interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal).
