Job Description:
Advise and assist managers, global system development team, and plant level users on SC system tools, SAOP, developing system reports, and train them for implementation. Act as a technical resource on major system and process development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
§ Develop, enhance, and maintain Supply Chain system tools in coordination with Global Business Units, Supply Chain, and IT teams.
§ Provide training and mentoring to develop and use variance reports, score card, inventory dashboard, molding machine database and other related SC tools to all plants and Global Business Units and Supply Chain teams.
§ Maintain Supply Chain metrics dashboard, collect monthly updates and publish results
§ Work with Global Business Unit Supply Chain teams to keep track of all Supply Chain tools.
§ Enhance Supply Chain web site, and furnish all Supply Chain tools for access on the corporate web site.
§ Incorporate report data and best business practices in coordination with the Global Director and Global Business Unit Supply Chain Directors.
§ Co-manage the China based Supply Chain Analyst to provide vision, mentoring, and guidance for developing and implementing supply chain tools in China.
§ Complete Green/Yellow/Red Supplier dashboard and implement it through out the corporation.
§ Assist the head of Supply Chain on special assignments to coordinate strategic sourcing and Global Supply Chain activities, develop reports, and analyze data.
§ Be an effective liaison between plant level users and the Global System Development Team by creating Crystal Reports to assist in information sharing.
§ Update material and vendor databases especially.
§ Develop commodity codes and spend database for indirect materials, supplies, and services.
§ Assist Supply Chain Leader in managing indirect material, supplies, and service contracts with vendors.
§ Assist IT and Supply Chain departments to evaluate software and hardware suppliers.
Education and/or Experience:
§ Associates or undergraduate degree in business or a technical discipline.
§ 5-10 years experience as business analyst, with process development and documentation experience.
§ Advanced expertise in Microsoft Office, web tools, BPCS, Crystal reports, AS400, S&OP processes and business tools.
