The purpose of the Supply Chain Systems Analyst is to analyze, design and develop system enhancements to meet business and customer requirements.
Primary Responsibilities:
Support production systems, including troubleshooting/resolution of production issues
Monitor and update assigned work tickets as required
Interaction with Business and IT
Work with business users during definition, design and implementation initiatives
Develop and maintain system support documentation as required
Perform testing of patches and releases
Support and participate in SOX audits, as needed
Provide after hour, weekend, and holiday support as needed/required
Requirements:
Experience in a distribution environment with a solid understanding of supply chain applications
Associate or Bachelor's degree in information technology or related subject
2+ years experience with business application development and solutions
Experience in application development and testing including enhancements and fixes
Knowledge of base technologies, which include Oracle DB and Unix, Java, XML and GIS
Use of SQL to investigate problems and extract data when needed
