Job Summary:

Under general supervision of the Center Director, the Patient Registration Manager is responsible for the oversight of the day-to-day management of the Patient Services department, which consists of Reception and Medical Records.  The Manager provides strategic and operational leadership management, identifying budget requirements (human, material and capital resources) to safely meet patient needs.  The Manager works collaboratively with other Health Center leadership staff to establish and maintain standards of practice; hires, monitors, manages performance of professional and support staff; involved in disciplinary action, if required; teaches and oversees orientation, designs and maintains ongoing educational activities for staff, creates and sustains a healthy work environment; maintains collaborative working relationships with stakeholders; and facilitates the implementation of changes to accomplish improved outcomes in patient satisfaction, quality of care, and cost containment.

Requirement Details:

·         Baccalaureate degree Minimum 5-8 years experience in a health care clinic setting.

·         Minimum 3-5 years management experience

·         Experience working with EHR preferred

·         Demonstrated leadership abilities in a management position and proven communication skills in a  team environment. 

·         Self-directed and highly motivated

·         Analytical, organizational, planning, teaching, decision-making and financial management skills.

·         Ability to function effectively in dynamic situations.  Excellent problem solving and critical thinking  skills.

·         Advanced knowledge of PC and information systems.
