Support Analyst

Location: Cedar Rapids, IA 52411

Technisource currently has a need for 3 Support Analysts in the Cedar Rapids area.  These positions will start out as part time opportunities, but have the potential of turning into full time employment. 

The Support Analyst acts as the focal point for providing applicable support to our customers and ultimately insuring their satisfaction as a customer.  In addition, the Support Analyst will stage and load hardware as needed during solution rollouts. This is a contract-to-hire position.
 
Responsibilities:

Primary point of contact for resolution of customer complaints regarding applicable solutions.
Learns new software applications as required.
Learns hardware and server components as required.
Completes internal and external system documentation.
Stages and loads devices during customer rollouts.
Will provide assistance testing and debugging applications, hardware and network connectivity. 
 

Qualifications:

Two-year degree in a Technical field desired or relevant experience
Effective customer support skills
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
Good problem solving
Software application support experience desired.
Knowledge of Windows operating environments
Knowledge of Windows Mobile, RIM, Palm and other PDA type devices
Familiarity with wireless architecture a plus
Familiarity with common databases and spreadsheets also a plus.

Schedule:
Part-time hours to start, with potential for full-time hours after 1-2 mos.
Shift A:  6am - 11am (M-F) to start, then potential to move to 6am - 3pm (Mon. - Sat. w/ a Tues, Wed or Thurs off, but Sat. is required)
Shift B:  7am - 12pm (M-F) to start, then potential to move to 7am - 4pm (Mon. - Sat. w/ a Tues, Wed or Thurs off, but Sat. is required)
Shift C:  2pm - 7pm (M-F) to start, then potential to move to 10am - 7pm (Mon. - Sat. w/ a Tues, Wed or Thurs off, but Sat. is required)


Full-time option would be a split shift schedule, such as:
Shift D: 6am - 10am AND 3pm - 7pm (M-F)
Shift E: 7am - 11am AND 3pm - 7pm (M-F)
