Responsibilities/Duties


 


Candidate will be responsible for second and third shift support of an Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) application


 


Candidate be will responsible for on-demand level 1 and level 2 troubleshooting of the Windows based AMI application using different logs provided by the application.


 


Candidate will interact with engineers of product development group. Must exhibit good trouble shooting skills and be able to communicate complex situations clearly. Should have good customer relationship skills, needs to be able to work flexible work hours in high stress environment.


 


Qualifications


 



  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science is preferred but will consider alternative degree with appropriate experience

  • Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of customer support experience, two in 24x7 environment.

  • Basic understanding of XML, and SQL

  • Knowledge of electricity/gas/water metering and/or electric utilities is desired

  • Candidate should have ability to learn and AMI application and provide application as well as system level support to the customers.

  • Ability to troubleshoot system and communication problems and good customer interface skills are essential.
