Encompass Technologies is a Fort Collins, CO based company that provides Route Accounting Software to the beverage distribution industry. The product is a web-based Application, including mobile software that runs on both Windows Mobile-based PDAs and Windows Tablet PCs. We work primarily with Beer, Wine, and Soda distributors across the US and Canada and are looking for a self-motivated person in the Fort Collins, CO area to join our team as a Support Engineer.
The ideal candidate for this position will have strong interpersonal communication skills and experience in ASP, VB and SQL. You should be committed to self-study, actively working to learn the product as well as stay on top of new technology and bringing ideas to the table.
As a Support Engineer, your primary objective is taking on the most complex questions and communicating solutions the front-line support team, and sometimes directly to the customer. Secondary responsibilities include fixing bugs or implementing feature requests from design to deployment.
The work environment is fun and fast paced. We have a large, modern office building one-half block from Old Town in Fort Collins, CO. If you enjoy multi-tasking on a variety of projects, working with web-based software, a variety of mobile hardware, and being a hero to your customers, you will enjoy this environment.

IDEAL SKILL SET

- Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and customer service skills
- Ability to troubleshoot complex problems, often by reading, testing, and debugging the code
- Experience with ASP (VB), T-SQL in a production environment
- Experience with HTML and JavaScript are all a plus
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task while working as part of a team
RESPONSIBILITIES

- Willingness to occasionally travel to customer site (optional)
