Support Programmer
About the Job
LSS Data Systems, a growing Eden Prairie, MN medical software company and MEDITECH subsidiary, is looking for a hard-working, self-motivated individual to join our Support Programming groups in our Billing or Clinical departments in our Minnetonka locations. The ideal candidate would have a two or four-year degree in math or computer science related field, as well as familiarity with at least two programming languages. In addition, strong programming aptitude, effective written and verbal communication skills and a high level of attention to detail are required. They must also be professional and flexible as well as a quick learner and a team player. This is an entry level position.
Responsibilities:
∙ Research software problems and implement solutions
∙ Code, test, and deliver software patches, as needed
∙ Code, test, and deliver mandated regulatory enhancements
∙ Handle all aspects of customer software updates
∙ Provide custom programming as requested by customers
∙ Set up databases for customers and internal departments
∙ Set up MEDITECH integration options for customers and internal departments
∙ Provide client support for the Customer Report Writer
∙ Other duties assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
∙ Effective written and verbal communication skills
∙ Familiarity of at least two programming languages
∙ Programming Aptitude

∙ Strong aptitude for math
∙ Ability to learn complex software applications
∙ Professionalism
