Surfaces Account Manager

SUMMARY: 

The Therapeutic Surfaces Account Manager (TSM) is responsible for working with the Therapeutic Surfaces Account Executive (TSA) and District Manager Sales ¿ Surfaces (DMSS) to develop and implement strategic account management plans to meet revenue and profit goals, presenting features and benefits of Surface products, presenting and implementing value added programs, developing relationships with key decision makers and opinion leaders, coordinating with the Therapeutic Surfaces Account Executive for business reviews with key customers, developing and explaining clinical and financial benefits with key customers, managing patient rounds, and achieving financial and strategic territory goals for assigned territory.

 


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1.      Bachelors degree in  Business, Nursing, or related field

2.      Two years of relevant experience in medical market place or equivalent

3.      Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)

 

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

1.      Ability to manage change and multiple priorities

2.      Ability to communicate both verbally and in written format

3.      Ability to operate independently and efficiently without supervision

4.      Ability to deal with customers, employees and business contacts, while conveying a positive customer service oriented attitude

5.      Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in all business dealings

6.      Ability to travel to customer sites and perform all required sales functions.

7.      Ability to exercise business judgment, eliciting support and cooperation from coworkers

8.      Must be willing to travel overnight by plane or car in order to provide proper territory coverage

9.      Must be willing to travel by commercial air service to attend scheduled business and corporate functions when required

10.  Ability to engage in self-appraisal and continuous learning

11.  Demonstrated management and organizational skills required

 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Two years of relevant sales experience in a consultative selling process role.
