Oversees the daily operations of the medical practice and is responsible for the performance of each employee in the business, is empowered to--and accountable for hiring, firing, setting expectations, training and developing employees and ensuring that employees deliver on building patient and physician satisfaction.
Serves as the overall business manager and liaison to the physician: Troubleshoots problems and develops recommendations for resolution. Monitors staff performance and facilitates effective teamwork. Considers company goals and strategic plans as well as financial, office, and human resources, in creating communicating and monitoring action plans to achieve objectives.
Performs, supervises, coordinates, and/or monitors the work activity related to patients, self-pay collections, and payment posting. Oversees the annual operating budget and develops business goals. Oversees the submission of accurate and timely payroll information. Performs administrative duties to ensure the efficiency of the office practice. Identifies, establishes, and evaluates quality assurance and compliance within the office practice, in keeping with the Practices policy and procedures.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 10 years management experience
· Human Resource Management skills
· Revenue Cycle Management
· Office Efficiency / work flow
· Accounting and Finance Knowledge
· Self-starter with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
