Surgical Care Affiliates (SCA) is a new company dedicated to our mission to care for our patients, serve our physicians, and improve healthcare in America. Our vision is to be the partner of choice for surgical care. Our 4,000+ teammates in our 130 surgery centers located throughout the U.S. and our corporate headquarters in Birmingham, AL democratically selected the following values to support achieving our mission and vision.

As a healthcare provider, SCA takes great pride in always putting clinical quality first. We recently took the lead in creating industry-wide clinical outcomes reporting, using metrics endorsed by the National Quality Forum, and all of our facilities pursue accreditation through the Joint Commission (JCAHO) or the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).

As part of one of the nation’s largest networks of ambulatory surgical centers and surgical hospitals, you will have the opportunity to regularly share best practices and participate in building a world-class platform that offers our facilities a competitive advantage and ultimately delivers on our vision to be the partner of choice.
