AES is currently seeking a Sterile Supply Tech, Surgical Processing Tech to work at our Silver Springs MD location.  The Service Assistant oversees daily operation of laparoscopic support programs. They will assist the AES staff and operating room staff in preparing the O.R. suite for surgery by assisting in instrument and equipment preparation.  

• Communicate with the surgical team before, during, and after the case to determine specific needs related to the services being provided by AES
  
• Assist the operating room staff in preparing the operative suite for surgery by gathering and placing all required laparoscopic/endoscopic equipment and instrumentation
  
• Clean and maintain reusable laparoscopic/endoscopic instruments and prepare instrumentation for sterilization

Job Qualifications

• High School graduate with minimum of one year experience in healthcare related field or company.
  
• Must be a team-oriented professional with a positive, customer service attitude who is able to endure stressful situations and a fast-paced, multi-tasking atmosphere.
