Sustaining Software Engineer
Job Purpose:
Pegasystems, the industry leader in business process management and business rules, helps organizations reach new levels of growth and agility by digitizing their goals and policies into software that can intelligently guide, automate, and optimize work.
In a fast-paced environment the Software Engineer will work closely with the technical support and new feature development teams to troubleshoot and fix product defects and to keep GA versions working on the latest platform combinations. To gain greater product knowledge and independence the Software Engineer will also be developing the latest release with the new feature development teams for up to 6 months a year. During this time the Software Engineer will work in an iterative development environment to quickly assimilate project requirements, develop thoughtful designs and implement robust high-quality features within aggressive timeframes. The successful candidate will bring energy and enthusiasm to an engineering team that takes pride in delivering high-quality software.
