System Access Quality Control Specialist
Under the supervision of the Senior Manager, Payment Validation and Processing, this position ensures that Deltek licenses are available for Reviewers. This position also enters purchase orders for Reviewer travel costs and consulting fees into Deltek. Provides customer service and technical assistance to all Head Start consultants to use Deltek and to ensure policies and procedures are followed consistently and in line with the government regulations.
General Description of Duties
1. Allocate licenses for Deltek time and expense module based upon anticipated usage for Head Start consultants.
2. Provide technical assistance to Reviewers and Review Team Leaders in using Deltek system.
3. Serve as an liaison among Payment Validation and Processing, Accounting and IT.
4. Perform quality control and data validation and generate reports.
5. Create training and procedure documentation on Deltek.
6. With travel information received from Review Planners, enter Purchase Orders into Deltek for Head Start
Reviewers' travel including Airfare, Hotel and Car Rentals, M&IE and Other Expenses.
7. With Reviews information received from Review Planners, enter Purchase Orders into Deltek for Head Start
Reviewers' Honorarium (consulting fees).
8. Provide general and technical support to Payment Validation and Processing.
9. Cross-train on other departmental functions and serve as backup for related functions.
10. Send production numbers to supervisor daily.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree and 4+ years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Four years experience in accounting field preferably in Purchasing or Accounts Payable.
Must be familiar with accounting software and Microsoft Office products.
Must have 2 years experience in technical support to accounting software: Deltek and Costpoint.
Must be detail oriented, with aptitude for math.
