Level I/II Operations Control support personnel to work a set shift position in a 24x7 Enterprise Management Operations Center (EMOC). Duties include supporting and monitoring dedicated servers running Microsoft Operating Systems, MS SharePoint, Web Services and other MS technologies. As a secondary function you will provide Level I&II support for SharePoint application users. Some of the duties include:
* Proactively monitor Enterprise servers with enterprise tools.
* Create, update and route trouble tickets as needed in response to issues detected or trouble calls received.
* Properly escalate, communicate and route problem tickets to Level III support staff.
* Properly notify mid/senior management on all critical outages or faults.
* Participate on Technical Conference Bridge for outages or faults when required.
* Maintain time lines during an outage or fault.
* SharePoint support items including creating users, assigning rights, following other standard operating procedures, etc.
Must be well spoken, organized, detailed-orientated, dependable, flexible, and willing to maintain a professional attitude at all times.
Requirements:
Candidate MUST have the following:
- College Degree and 5 years experience OR High School degree and 9 years experience.
- Be a US Citizen
