Systems Engineer Client Mgmt IV is responsible for installing, configuring, managing, troubleshooting and repairing the enterprise software delivery infrastructure, client management infrastructure, remote installation infrastructure, and client operating system management infrastructure. 75496 Job Requirements Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry training/experience. Three years systems engineering or systems analystexperience. Infrastructure - Knowledge of the key infrastructure components related to Mercys environment. These include: Active Directory, SMSSCCM, Networking Protocols, Windows operating systems (PC and Server), Group Policies, NetworkTopologies and protocols and Windows Registry. Strong knowledge of all key infrastructure components. Knowledge in the Core technologies as related to the Desktop Service Line. Technologies: Citrix, Exchange, Packaging,Client Management, SecurityStrong knowledge in all of the core technologies and specializing in one core technology. Ability to architect solutions for their primary technology. Knowledge in automation techniques and scripting languages. Ability to correlate data to resolve root cause issues. Advanced scripting and automation techniques. Ability to develop resolutions for enterprise. Available for hotline calls. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time. Demonstrated ability to work in a complex networking and information systems environment. In-depth knowledge of: a. Microsoft Active Directory b. Workstation security protocols (group policies, etc.) c. Network topologies and protocols In-depth knowledge of at least 5 of the following: a. Microsoft workstation operating systems b. Microsoft Windows registry c. Microsoft file systems (structure, rights, etc.) d. WISE package studio or other application packaging software e. Application delivery methods (SMS, Intellimirror, etc.) f. Scripting (GUI and command line) g. Windows server operating systems h. McAfees virus protection products (ePO, VirusScan, etc.) Familiarity with: a. Workstation hardware platforms b. Healthcare applications c. Windows server operating systems Ability to work alone and with a teamLogic based troubleshooting skillsBasic hardware troubleshooting skillsGood oral and written communication skills. Project management skills. Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer certification or ability to become certified during the first year of employment. Willingness to devote significant time to personal and professional development. Willingness to work outside normal business hours as required to complete projects. All organization and technical MISD Competencies appropriate for level. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups. Ability to lead simple to moderately complex project efforts, coordinating project resources, tasks, and timeframes. PreferredBachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems (or equivalent) desired. Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer certification or ability to become certified during the first year of employment. Experience in workstation management and application packaging and delivery in a multi-facility environment highly desirable. Troubleshooting experience with PCs, personal digital assistants, printers, bar-code readers highly desirable.
