Exacq Technologies is a developer of surveillance video storage software and servers for both analog and IP based cameras. Our products are the backbone of the IP video industry, which has grown 100% in the last three years and is projected by analysts to grow 200% in the next 3 years. The Systems Engineer is responsible for development, validation and support of hardware and software environments for Engineering Division



what you will do

•Understand exacqVision systems – hardware, software, operations, etc.

•Develop, manage, sustain and improve exacqVision hardware

•Address any issues related to exacqvision hardware

•Support manufacturing facilities in production of systems

•Manage third-party contractors and/or consultants 









what you will need



•Experience using Oscilloscopes, analyzers and other electronics tools

•Experience with board level hardware development and troubleshooting electronics to the component level

•Extensive knowledge of Server and Desktop Hardware

•Extensive experience with MS Windows, Linux (Ubuntu), and PC platform

•BS/MS Degree in CS, EE, or relevant field

•Able to travel (domestic and international); approximately 10%



Other desirable skills:

•Extensive knowledge of Server and Desktop Hardware

•Knowledge of PCB layout and high speed transmission lines

•Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills

•Experience with digital video capture, compression, or streaming

•Experience with CCTV security video systems
