System Integration Technician
Objective:
The System Integration Technician supports development and production efforts by installing, interconnecting and troubleshooting hardware, initializing programmable equipment, integrating hardware and software, and supporting systems test, shipping preparation, and installation efforts, while adhering to Raydon processes/quality standards and meeting program cost and schedule constraints.
Typical Duties:
Typical Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assembling, installing, cabling and interconnecting training system hardware, networks, and support systems.
- Diagnosing and repairing equipment problems and documenting issues/solutions.
- Loading software into systems and initializing programmable equipment.
- Verifying hardware operation.
- Working with engineers to run equipment and integration tests.
- Supporting development of test procedures; maintaining equipment during integration and test.
- Participating in running of system and customer tests.
- Ensuring hardware configuration changes are properly recorded.
- Preparing equipment for shipment.
- Installing systems in final configurations.
- Supporting Platform Engineering as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:
· AS degree in Simulation, Computer or Electronics Technology or equivalent years of military electronics training.
· A+ Certification (or designated equivalent training as part of a degree program).
· Eight years of related experience with a minimum of two of those years building, testing, troubleshooting, installing and repairing computational systems and computer based training systems.
· A thorough understanding of computer hardware and network equipment, as well as the installation and execution of application software and operating system packages.
- Ability to read and work to schematic diagrams, wire lists, engineering drawings and sketches.
- Ability to work with hand tools and power tools including those for soldering, wiring, and cabling fabrication.
- Proven communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- BS in Computer or Electronics Technology.
- Network+ certification.
