Responsibilities:

·         Develop testing requirements for new features and functionality of company’s routing and bridging software.

·         Work closely with design and other test engineers to understand feature requirements and translate to test cases.

·         Certify the stackable product line such as FGS, FESX, SuperX and XMR.

·         Work with TCP/IP, RIP/OSPF/BGP, IP Multicast, SNMP, and Network Management as well as the testing process and product cycle with formal testing methodologies.

·         Design and implement system level test cases of various cutting edge networking protocols.

Technical Competencies:

·         Educational Requirement of MSEE/CS or equivalent.

·         Professional or academic knowledge of Ethernet technologies, routing switching lab, VLSM and routing and switching protocols; Bridging techniques, advanced routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP); security, host and network intrusion detection; forensic tools and resources for system administration; TCP/IP, OSI, LAN, ISDN, WAN technologies; and verifying and monitoring ACLs in the network.
