Do you have systems administration experience?  If so, you may be just the candidate we’re looking for. OnRamp Access is currently seeking a full-time Systems Administrator with proven experience in Windows and Linux operations systems, server class equipment and Cisco routers and switches.  The Systems Administrator will be responsible for all aspects of systems administration including networks, applications and databases. The administration work includes implementation, configuration, coordination, control, maintenance, troubleshooting, security, usage monitoring and the development of specialized system procedures. The candidate will also perform basic systems security administration functions, including: monitoring and managing system resources, creating customer profiles and accounts, performing systems backups and recovery procedures, writing or modifying basic scripts to resolve performance problems, maintaining system documentation and logs, performing or assisting in troubleshooting and diagnosing production problems and maintaining network security.  While this is an entry level administrator position, the candidate will work closely with our staff of Sr. Engineers.  We are a fast growing company, and this position will provide lots of opportunity for professional growth.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• A minimum of 2-4 years in systems administration experience
• TCP/IP Internetworking
• Cisco routing, switching, firewalls and content switch configuration and management
• Telecommunications configuration and management
• System Administration for Microsoft Servers and Clients 
• System Administration for Microsoft applications including Exchange, SQL Server, CRM, SharePoint, etc.
• System Administration for Linux operating systems for servers
• HP and Cisco hardware configuration and maintenance
• Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations
• Communication skills (face-to-face, phone, email) with the ability to provide support to customers and work with OnRamp engineers and staff

• Willingness to work independently and with a team
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
