Reporting to the Systems Delivery IT Manager, and working closely with Program Management, Configuration Management, Quality Assurance and Systems Engineering, the Systems Administrator is responsible for systems and AD architecture,  building and testing the environment and integrating the L1 solution into customer sites. 

Responsibilities:

The Systems Administrator is responsible for creating solutions that will be integrated into Customer sites.  The Administrator is responsible for the solution from a project’s inception through completion.  A strong emphasis is placed on system and Active Directory architecture and design for integration into sometimes complex networks.  The Administrator role requires strong functionality both working alone as a technical lead on a project or under managerial guidance.  Travel to Customer sites is required.     

Requirements:

• Windows Server 2003 MCSE working towards 2008 certification


• Quantifiable strong working hands on knowledge of Active Directory planning, installation and support including expert knowledge of group policies, trusts, and Kerberos security is a must


• Strong hands on experience with Windows networking concepts such as DNS


• Hands on experience developing and supporting High Availability and Disaster Recovery scenarios


• Hands on experience with deployment software such as Ghost


• Hands on experience with SMS, WSUS and Centralized Anti-virus solutions


• Hands on experience with NetBackup


• Experience installing and configuring Microsoft SQL and IIS


• Ten years hands on experience building, troubleshooting, and repairing server hardware


• Strong communication skills


• Strong documentation skills


• Experience with Windows Server 2008


• Experience with virtual server environments a huge plus


• Experience with Microsoft Hyper V a plus


• Scripting experience a plus
