Position Description:

Currently CORDEV, Inc has job openings for Systems Administrators to work with the United States Army at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky.  Successful candidates will maintain client machines in a multi-user Windows environment.  Selected candidates must coordinate with network administrators to provide smooth and reliable print management for a wide array of print devices and maintain optimal print server performance.  You must be experienced in file management and be able to perform tasks such as setting file permissions, maintaining and setting quotas, creating AD groups to restrict access, and work with customers to restructure SAN hierarchy. Candidates will provide customer service by phone, email, or walk-in and respond to requests through the Remedy (AR) ticket system. Primary duties also include the monitoring and troubleshooting of all versions of Windows server for availability and recover data in the event of software or hardware failure, create service accounts, document system changes, track daily activities in a spreadsheet, deploy servers, and perform patch management to keep all systems secure. Additional tasks include troubleshooting email issues and working with Blackberry Enterprise Server. You will report to the Government SA Lead and the CORDEV Site Manager. 

 

Required Certifications:

  • MSCE 2003 or MCITP: Enterprise Administration certification
  • CompTIA Security+ certification

 

Other Requirements:

  • Technical knowledge of systems administration and integration
  • Mastery of and skill in applying advanced IT concepts
  • Expert understanding of Windows Server Family
  • Expert understanding of Storage Area Networks (SAN) and replication software
  • Must be a team player
  • Must have excellent English verbal and written skills
  • Must be willing to relocate (if necessary)
  • Must be able to obtain and hold a “Secret” government security clearance 
  • 2 Years administering Microsoft networks desired
  • 1 Year SIPRNET experience desired
  • 1 Year experience with Microsoft Systems Center products desired
  • 1 Year experience with virtualization desired
