Systems Administrator/Network Administrator

This growth has created a need for an Systems Administrator/Network Administrator in our extremely busy IT Department.
Responsibilities:
As a member of our team your primary responsibility is to provide first level primary support to end users. This will include but not be limited to, the following:
- Assist IT Manager with various projects relating to the Enterprise Network.
- Provide end user software and hardware technical support.
- Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure timely resolution.
- Install, configure and maintain client application software.
- Administer Enterprise Network end user accounts. Create new user accounts. Manage access privileges of end users and maintain appropriate levels of security for various network resources, and management of Linux based file server.
- Create, update, and maintain network documentation (including LAN diagrams) for all new and existing Enterprise Network software and hardware systems.
- Telecommunications Support for VoIP network.
- Manage and trouble shoot local and remote office using TCP/IP, layer 2 and layer 3 router/switch, VLAN, and WAN protocols.
- Email account administration, with imanager and groupwise.
- Desk top support, PC repair, and Network cabling.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in related field such as Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Bartender, wireless CE barcode scanners, Zebra label printers.
- Experience in SQL server 2000 and 2008 administration. Ability to write SQL, and Stored procedures a big plus.
- Experience using Crystal reports.
- Knowledge of and experience with server operating systems: Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2003 Server, and SUSE Linux.
- Willingness and commitment to learn new technologies and technical skills.
- Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to stand on a ladder; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include near acuity, far acuity, depth perception, and color vision.
- Job may occasionally require evening, weekend and holiday hours based on business needs.
