Responsible for defining and managing the scope of business systems projects. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Manages integrated functionality, usability, reliability, performance and support requirements of a system.
  • Creates feature test strategies and environment needs.
  • Provides the link between the technical and business views of the system by ensuring that the technical solutions being developed will satisfy the needs of the business.
  • Applies and mentors use of tools to define requirements.
  • Anticipates and identifies opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensures high level designs including architecture requirements are accurately documented and map to approved requirements.
  • Assists in developing training documentation and proactive identification of additional documentation needs.
Required Skills:
  • Demonstrated experience with X12/837-835 claims transactions, batch file loads, warehouse operations
  • Proactive, skilled communicator, with the proven capacity to lead team SDLC efforts
  • Lead experience with matrixed project delivery team
  • experience with Healthcare IT
  • data profiling ; SQL server, Ultraedit, Erwin
  • experience managing matrix organization projects (soliciting requirements/user stories, holding JADs, working with developers)
  • Experience working with ETL developers (Informatica)
  • Experience with developing test cases on Teradata/SQL Server/Oracle for ETL, file transfers, and data loads/staging.
Nice to have skills:
  • PMP and Agile certifications a plus
  • Experience with healthcare industry standard data sets: NCPDP, HL7, JSON)
Qualifications
  • Requires BA/BS in information systems or related field; 6 or more years related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Certifications preferred.
