The overall responsibilities of this position include defining the functional requirements, conducting detailed analysis, and acting as a liaison between the product managers and development organizations.
Essential Functions:
In this role, you will work closely with the Search Technology Product Manager to define product solutions for Monster’s search functionality. You will act as a liaison between the product manager and development teams to define solutions, elaborate requirements and craft functional designs. You will lead efforts to define and shape technical solutions while continuing to innovate and maintain Monster’s commitment to excellence. Partner with multiple business units to provide project leadership, application-specific subject matter expertise, and technical insight and impact assessments as they relate to Monster’s online presence.

Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
· Experience with search technologies a strong plus.
· Extensive experience in writing Functional Requirements.
· Knowledge of various development methodologies, including agile and waterfall.
· 5+ years experience in web-based systems analysis preferred.
· A track record of successfully leading analysis efforts for large and complex projects to solve significant technology-related business problems in a complex web environment.
· The ability to perform project management tasks within a project where a dedicated project manager may not be required.
· Significant experience in developing collaborative relationships and partnerships with the business and technology departments that drive business results.
· Advanced UML design and specification concepts preferred.
· Exposure to development practices in large, complex Web environments.
· Demonstrated self-direction skills and strong business relationship skills.
· The ability to lead and mentor other team members in developing their systems analysis skills.
· Experience in working with environments where software applications are being built from scratch (idea to deployment).
· Experience with integrating custom built applications with existing applications and third party software.
· Must understand systems analysis practices and have demonstrated experience in applying them in practice.
· Excellent communication and influencing skills.
· Practical problem solving and strategic thinking skills.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Project Management experience preferred.
· Bachelor’s degree, Master’s preferred.
