Systems Analyst - Security

Summary of Position
The Systems Analyst is responsible for the design, security, management and administration of all Windows, UNIX, and Linux systems and clients. This position should support the general overall organization of all network systems to include enterprise servers, desktop and laptop systems, and PC and server networks.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures for server and PC systems to regulate access to computer data files and prevent unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure of information.
- Perform routine baseline security scans on all systems.
- Manage file level security access on all shared drives.
- Work with systems owners to implement security updates.
- Manage the Windows Security Update Service server to ensure that all systems have the latest Microsoft security updates.
- Maintain and review all security hardening documentation.
- Manage, maintain, and monitor all Anti-Virus systems. Ensure that all systems are running anti-virus with the latest virus definitions.
- Respond, document, and research all virus alerts (PCI requirement).
- Provide senior level support to the Hong Kong office.
- Maintain and monitor file access logging.
- Review security audit logs on all Windows and Unix systems for unauthorized access.
- Ensure that all system are in PCI compliance. Work with the security group in ensure we maintain your PCI compliance.
- Work with internal audit to complete the annual SOx audit.
- Monitor SQL and Active Directory for security gaps.
- Ensure that all system components and software have the latest vendor supplied security patches installed.
- Ensure that all critical security patches are installed within one month of release.
- Review logs for all systems component at least daily (PCI requirement). Log reviews will include server that perform security functions like intrusion-detection and authentication, authorization, and accounting protocol servers.
- Implement security changes as requested by the Security group.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of all network systems, components, and associated equipment.
- Investigate Websence alerts.
Minimum Requirements
- Three to five years in IT field
- Security Administration
- Experience with network protocol analyzers
- Strong understanding of Windows systems
- Experience in managing Active Directory
- Basic understanding of Linux/UNIX systems
- Experience with MS SQL and IIS
- Experience with SSL certificates
- Experience with UNIX and Windows scripting
- Experience with setting up and maintaining enterprise systems with failover and redundancy
