We are currently searching for a Java Systems Integrator to join our team. This is a full-time position in our Mason, Ohio HQ.

Major Duties

Ø Enhance and maintain the in-store retail systems for all Luxottica Retail optical and sun brands.

Ø Responsible for all phases of the systems life cycle (analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation).

Ø Participate in cross-functional project teams to develop technical solutions for stores.

Required Skills

• 1+ years Java programming experience (College/University project/co-op/internship work may be considered).
• Proficient in object-oriented programming concepts.
• Relational database experience.
• Excellent communication skills.

Desired Skills

• Java Application Server development.
• Aspect-oriented programming experience.
• Web development experience (HTML, JavaScript, JSP).
• Familiarity with Linux.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Business or Computer Science (or related) or equivalent experience.
• Work experience in IT field a plus.
• Solid problem solving and programming skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Results oriented, positive attitude, proactive, and a team player.
