JOB DESCRIPTION:
You will develop algorithms, logic & functional model descriptions for SW developers in the Dayton, OH office for their implementation of analytic software models of Navigation, Weapons, and Sensor systems. The successful candidate will perform verification and validation of implemented designs and will apply, analyze, report, and brief the results of constructive mission analyses. Key activities include:
• Design models, equations, and other algorithms for representing various systems
• Document software designs, assumptions, and limitations
• Gather info from Reference, Requirements, and Design documents/sources
• Participate in software model development test and verification
• Plan/participate in the application of constructive simulations in support of various analyses
• Analyze and communicate results in written, spreadsheet, verbal forms.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, another related degree field or equivalent experience
• 5+ years relevant experience
• Affinity for implementing thorough, clear, detailed, and precise descriptions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work well within a team and to work and plan to an individual schedule.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
• Detail oriented, capable of understanding and implementing complex algorithms
• Experienced in development/planning/application of constructive mission simulations
• Knowledge and exposure to the full software development life cycle
• Active DoD SECRET or higher Clearance within last 18 months
• Knowledge of GPS and Sensor Systems
• Knowledge of C++ Object Oriented Design, UML and FORTRAN
• Relevant Master’s degree

US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD SECRET Clearance are required for the position.
