Systems Engineer
Install, configure and support proprietary software applications
Our privately held, profitable, software company just under 2 minutes from Rt. 495 in Milford, MA is seeking an independent and highly motivated individual to work within our System Engineering group to install and support Psyche’s proprietary laboratory information systems, maintain our hosted equipment as well as our in-house computer based information systems. Psyche Systems continues to deliver proven laboratory information systems to hospitals and clinics across the country. Have you got what it takes to contribute to our success?
Requirements:
5+ years experience performing Windows Server Systems support and administration.
5+ years experience performing IIS and MS SQL Server support and administration.
2+ years experience working with server class hardware.
Networking experience with various Firewall / VPN appliances.
Proficiency with administration of common network services such as DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP, IPSEC VPN setup and troubleshooting, as well as VMware, Citrix.
MCSE or other Technical Certifications.
Previous experience interacting directly with Customers (external & internal)
Responsibilities:
Install, configure and maintain Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2008 operating systems.
Install, configure and maintain applications on various Windows Operating Systems
Configure and maintain Web Applications using IIS 6.0/7.0/7.5.
Support and Troubleshoot technical issues from Psyche’s customer base.
Occasional travel to customer sites to perform application installs (less than 5%)
