Systems Engineer - Information Assurance

Description:
The candidate will support technical assessment and analysis of new principles, concepts, and system architectures specifically in the area of Information Assurance Engineering. The candidate will serve as a contributor in the development of solutions to technical problems of limited scope and complexity. The primary focus and responsibility will be in support of systems CONOPS development, requirements and architecture development and technology solutions to command and control systems with a concentration of effort in the area of architecture development and Information Assurance, Certification, and Accreditation. In addition, the candidate will work under the technical leadership of a Principal Engineer or Lead Engineer and be responsible for providing technical support in requirements development, concept development, integration and test, and performance analysis on the Fleet Ballistic Missile Training Program.

Specific responsibilities include:
- Work with the Integrated Product Teams (IPT) in the development of IA compliant Architectures.
- Provide technical support in the conduct of Information Assurance Planning and development of system security strategies and implementations.
- Support development of security related test plans, and conduct said testing and analysis.
- Support conduct of analysis and development of work products required by the Department of Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) and Department of Defense Intelligence Information Systems (DoDIIS) certification and accreditation processes.
- Provide technical support in the development of technical concepts for Hardware and Software-based systems.
- Support the analysis, development and allocation of System and Subsystem requirements.
- Support development of System and Subsystem Architectures.
- Support conduct of Integration & Test activities, including integration of software and hardware at the system level, test execution and evaluation of test results, and performance of system-level requirements verification.

Qualifications:
BS with 0 yrs experience. Applicable degrees include Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or other related scientific or technical disciplines.

Applicants selected must be eligible to U.S. government classified information, and must obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the nature of work performed in our facility, U.S. Citizenship is required.
