We are looking for a Field Service Specialist in Dallas, Texas. This opportunity will allow you to use your TDC 3000 experience along with your hardware, software and customer service skills. If you have worked with Honeywell legacy systems in the past we would like to speak with you.
As a Field Service Specialist for our team you will:
- Maintain and troubleshoot Personal computers, PLC and DCS equipment
- Support client server architecture
- Administer preventive maintenance on controls systems
- Support Power to equipment such as motors, transformers, breakers and relay's
- Observe Function of installed equipment or system to detect hazards
- Repair and troubleshoot control and signal circuits and Identify discrepancies
- Program code logic and troubleshoot existing code
- Support and troubleshoot LAN / WAN communications
- Document electrical and process drawings (P&IDs, Interconnect, Panel, etc..)
- Travel to client sites from Dallas area 75% of the time.
Basic Qualifications:
- 2 years TDC 3000 experience
Additionally desired:
- 5 years experience TDC 3000, Experion, Rockwell, Prologix, ect..
- QCS Pulp & Paper experience a plus
- Valid drivers license (Van provided)
- BS, AS or technical degree
- Strong electronics background
- Work with electronic test equipment
- The ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools
- The ability to assimilate data quickly, resourceful, and work well in an unstructured situation
- Capable of meeting customers demands while working on multiple projects with various deadlines.
- Comfortable in a power and petro-chemical plant work environment
