Job Description: Our client is the interactive arm for a global PR and communications agency. They are rapidly growing and looking to hire a Technical Director for their NY office. This is an exciting role that will allow the right candidate to really make an impact and will report into the Global CTO.
This position is responsible for overseeing all digital/technical aspects for the NY office. Your core responsibilities will be: - Technical Consultant: You will be the technical lead for all new business pitches and client presentations. Making recommendations to the client and the creative team, ensuring their creative visions can be brought to life. Should know all the latest technology and trends. - Technical Project Management: You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day development on all projects. Ensuring projects stay on track, working directly with clients and internal team resolving any issues or problems, and keeping everyone updated on progress. - Technical Architect/Support: You will be making technical recommendations and ensuring the best technology solution for each project. You will be also be responsible for troubleshooting any technical issues with external development partners, all which are US based.
The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience. 2-3 years agency exp. is a must. Must have a technical background. This is not a hands-on developer role, however you must have a solid understanding of technical programming and process, since you will be managing all technical development. Knowledge of emerging digital trends and products. Social Media and IA/User exp. are a plus!
