BUSINESS UNIT OVERVIEW TYCO FLOW CONTROL Tyco Flow Control is a $4.5+ billion global segment within Tyco International and is the largest manufacturer of valves, actuators, heat-tracing products and associated flow control products in the world serving the oil and gas, chemical, power generation, petrochemical, waterworks, pulp and paper, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and specialty markets. POSITION OVERVIEW Analysts will work in key financial and accounting disciplines within Tyco Flow Control to support the company’s Controls and Compliance group and their efforts to maintain and improve internal controls across the company. This position provides an excellent opportunity to acquire project management skills and experience of the requirements Sarbanes-Oxley (assessment of internal controls) in a listed company. The successful candidate will have exposure to a wide variety of financial and business processes in the company. Those areas include Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting & Controls, and Audit.

Roles & Responsibilities: • Collaborate and communicate across multiple business units to collect and disseminate pertinent project information • Monthly assignments in order to meet deliverables and deadlines associated with forecasting, analyzing and reporting Corporate Department Expense • Execution of the requirements of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (assessment of internal controls) • Assist in the monthly review and analysis of the operating segment results and the consolidated Intercompany Reconciliation process • May be required to become a power user of such tools as Hyperion Enterprise Consolidation System and Oracle to assist in managing work responsibilities • Consult with business unit subject matter experts to understand Tyco business needs

Qualifications Education • At least one internship experience or 1-2 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or a related business discipline Experience • At least one internship or 1-2 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or a related business/technical field Skills • Strong problem solving and analytical skills • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills • Self-starter, quick learner, and adaptable to changing business requirements
