
TFS Administrator
| Responsible for migrating source code for multiple projects from VSS into TFS and ensuring the affected development teams can access and build their code from TFS. In addition to managing the day-to-day activities, this position will produce various reports based on code being checked into and out of the repository ensuring volume of work produced meets standards/goals ensuring service levels are met and exceeding customer standards.
TFS Administrator duties include: •Administration of the TFS system for developer access and code migration from VSS •Implementation of and maintaining process guidance flows •Creating and managing TFS project branches to include source code repositories, TFS SharePoint sites, and Reporting Server capabilities •Ensuring proper labeling and branching strategies are enforced •Ensuring SDLC process policies are enforced within TFS •Creating and maintaining TFS reports to be used for tracking resource utilization and capacity, defects and enhancements, product manifests, product aggregated reports for executive dashboards, and other reports to be defined •Other duties as assigned
Education: College degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline. Other degrees will be considered with appropriate background and experience. Equivalent and work experience may be substituted in lieu of education as determined by management on a case by case basis.
Experience: •Three or more years directly related experience in MS Team Foundation Server (TFS) support •TFS Experience is a MUST have •TFS Experience and SQL DBA experience is a MUST have •Three years experience in Release, Configuration, and Change Management process. •Understanding of various SDLC programs •Understands importance of accuracy and responsiveness with a strong sense of urgency •Excellent written communication skills are a must |
