Boyer Technologies provides technical assistance to our customer’s computer systems users: We are their IT Department. In this position, you will be expected to:
Answer inbound calls from users.
Troubleshoot computer problems, determine source, and advise appropriate action.
Complete application project-based work.
Answer questions or resolve computer problems for clients in person, via telephone, or from a remote location.
Provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems.
Troubleshoot all information technology issues, including software, hardware, and networking. Install and update desktops, laptops, PDAs, peripherals, networks, and related software.
Qualification Requirements:
- MCSA certified, with one year post-certification experience.
- Customer Service Experience
- Ability to troubleshoot a wide range of IT issues, including hardware, software, network issues, and peripheral devices
- Strong English language skills
- Proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Office and Internet applications
- Must have a driver's license and provide own reliable tranportation
Other Desirable Skills
Strong Customer Service and communication skills.
Knowledge of Help Desk software
Experience with Cisco router systems
Highly motivated
Able to work independently and establish own goals and priorities.
Ability to deal with multiple priorities that may change frequently.
Physical Demands and work environment:
Requires sitting at the workstation, on the telephone for extended periods of time in a fast paced environment. Requires customer site visits. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds. Selected candidate may be asked to pass a comprehensive background check, including criminal history, credit, and drug screening.
