Company Overview

Epic is a national leader in software development for healthcare systems. We create and implement a wide range of integrated software for many of the largest healthcare organizations in the country. Our software improves patient care and reduces costs. Over the last 15 years we have seen steady growth, and currently, organizations using our software care for about 118 million people across the United States. That means that 1 in 3 people in the U.S. are directly affected by the work we do.

Beyond all of that, Epic is an exciting, innovative place to work.

Position Summary

We're looking for an experienced tax professional to help our company continue its steady growth. At Epic, you'll be exposed to a broad range of experiences within the tax field. You'll have the ability to build on your compliance experience by preparing corporate income tax returns, quarterly estimated taxes, sales tax, and property tax. You'll tackle the analysis and resolution of sales tax issues as well as sales and state income tax postures and exposure across multiple states. You'll own diverse projects like apportionment issues, the review and analysis of depreciation and fixed asset issues, and the management of the tax deadline calendar. Your responsibilities will also include assistance with federal and state audits, transfer pricing and Cost Segregation studies. Your work will challenge you to go beyond compliance, consider tax issues across multiple states, and take part in planning for Epic's international expansion. You'll be a highly visible member of a dynamic team, working closely with and providing strategic advice to our Finance and Accounting department's senior management.
