Job Description:

A world class entertainment company in NYC seeks an Assistant Director of Tax to be responsible for developing and managing the cash tax forecasting process (monthly and quarterly). This will require oversight of the entire process from data collection to analysis of taxable income and variances from period to period. This role is the primary reviewer of many of the calculations prepared by the company's service provider, PwC, in their outsource function (both financial and compliance). The Assistant Director of Tax is also responsible for the consolidation of the manufacturing deduction calculation including corporate overhead and interest expense allocations, as well as federal audit support and planning projects. This individual will serve as a team leader in the evaluation of Tax department software/processes and implementation of recommended improvements.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need 5-7+ years of public and/or private tax experience with extensive FAS 109 training and experience with cash tax forecasting experience out of a large public company. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required, as is a CPA and/or MBA. You must possess outstanding leadership and communication skills and strong analytical and organizational skills.
