A leading CPA firm is currently looking to hire an experienced Tax Supervisor/Tax Manager. The firm is looking to grow and needs an experienced Tax Supervisor and Tax Manager who can supervise others and have extensive knowledge in all areas of taxation.  The ideal candidates will have outstanding opportunity for growth with the firm, including partnership opportunities.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·                      Provide tax compliance and consulting to a diverse base of corporate and individual         clients.

·                      Become a principal client contact for the firm for selected medium and large engagements.

·                      Oversee complex tax projects for a variety of clients and diverse industries.

·                      Take full responsibility for services of various assigned clients under the supervision of senior managers and partners, including negotiating, billing, and collecting fees.

·                      Manage teams of tax professionals working on client projects.

·                      Meet regularly with business and community contacts to maintain marketing network.

·                      Seek new business contacts.

·                      Participate on office-wide management projects and committees.

·                      Develop tax senior and staff by delegating work, supervising their activities and providing timely and complete evaluations and counseling.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·                      Experienced tax professional who in public accounting.

·                      Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting/Finance and CPA required; Masters is preferred but not required.

·                      Advanced technical skills in a variety of tax and accounting areas, along with well-developed and applied management and supervisory skills are also required.
