
As a Tax Senior Associate you will have the opportunity to work with clients in a variety of industries - demonstrating your knowledge by preparing tax returns and completing other tax-related projects.
Internally, the Tax Associate will be responsible for performing tax-related research and completing special tax-related projects.
Externally, the Tax Associate will be responsible for communicating with clients, the IRS and other business professionals as-needed, and completing business and individual tax returns.
To be successful in this role, a Tax Associate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and a CPA license - or at least a demonstration of progress made towards obtaining the CPA license. 2-5 years of tax experience within a public accounting firm is needed. A strong knowledge of accounting principles is required, as you will apply that knowledge to client issues in order to develop solutions. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are necessary - you will be working closely with partners, staff, business owners and other professionals and need to be able to communicate effectively.
The ability to work overtime during peak periods during the year is required.
