SENIOR CORPORATE TAX ACCOUNTANT - milne $70,000 - $80,000 plus benefits package My client is a global multi $billion government contractor located in the DC Metro area. They are looking to expand their tax department and have an immediate opening for a Senior Tax Accountant. You will report to a CPA Tax Manager and rotate during a two years period through four departments covering domestic compliance, international tax, consolidation tax and federal tax audits Perform daily state and local tax research Analyze state accounts to ensure accuracy Undertake state income tax audits of the corporation’s state tax returns Review and participate in major state income tax filing Assist with calculation of the current and deferred state income tax provisions and forecasts Assist in the training and development of newly hired entry level tax professionals. Qualifications :
To be considered for this fulltime vacancy you should ideally posses a BS degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or Master in Tax preferred), minimum five years experience gained in either public accounting or large corporate company, exposure to state and local tax returns.
