JOB DESCRIPTION:

Under the direct supervision of the Headstart Director and/or Headstart
Teacher, the Teacher's Aide is responsible for assisting the Teacher
with all daily classroom functions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must possess at least a High School Diploma or GED certificate,
preferable 15 semester hours in Early Childhood Education courses,
minimum of one (1) year experience in a pre-school setting. Willing to
obtain CDA certificate. Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to effectively work with parents. Must be a team player and able
to perform tasks requested by teacher, social worker, and/or director.
Ability and competence necessary to contribute to each child's physical,
intellectual, personal, emotional and social development.
