This is a fulltime role with one of our best clients in Stamford. You would be their employee. This group typically looks for a creative, out-of-the-box thinker with excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong Object Oriented background, Winforms,webservices all key in this role.

-10+  years of overall software development experience with at least 6 years of design, development and deployment of enterprise OO application in C#.NET using WinForm with SQL Server backend

-Able to quickly learn technologies to achieve business solution

-Solid understanding of Microsoft .NET platform and Framework, working knowledge of web services, Windows Platform, messaging architectures, data models, UML

-Must have thorough understanding of modern development technologies and infrastructures such as object oriented design, .NET/Java technologies, and middleware, databases and Unix/Windows servers

-Experience with ASP.Net with Web application development preferred

-Knowledge of eCommerce strategy and approach strongly preferred

-Knowledge of reinsurance business is a plus

- Possess good interpersonal skills, be team-oriented, technically motivated and creative, user oriented
