Position Summary:  Under limited supervision performs work of considerable difficulty in the repair and maintenance of equipment. 

Essential Role Responsibilities:

Manage of PM/Service scheduling for manufacturing equipment.

Management of local fire and safety inspections by The Carol Stream Fire Protection District.

Manage landscaping/lawn sprinkler/snow removal contractors.

Preparation and submittal of Building Permit Application when required.

Co-Chairperson of Safety Committee/Perform Safety Orientation to new team members.

Management of Garment Rental/Vending Services.

Responsible for State and local Governed Reporting, such as EPA,IEMA,OSFM and Tier II reporting

Administration of ADT Security and Quinlan Security.

Direct essential repairs and maintenance required on equipment for Controls & Roundup Divisions, forklifts, and bailers

Ensure safety training and proper safety practices are adhered to and followed

Responsible for ordering materials/supplies, preparing records, answering questions & providing information related  to building safety and security

Responds to emergencies as requested on a on-call basis

Responsible for safety and security initiatives to include but not limited to: safety team member, security administrative tasks, and MSDS administrator

Must have knowledge of OSHA, MSDS, and Proficient with MS Office, QAD(Preferred)   

Must be mechanically inclined,  capable of performing a variety of maintenance tasks, and be a team player

Knowledge of manufacturing machinery, repair techniques/guidelines, and ability to differentiate colors
