Job Details:

  • Job Summary: Assists staff pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications for the purpose of ensuring proper drug utilization.

    Education: Completion of High School or GED.

    Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: Valid Oklahoma Pharmacy Technician Certificate.

    Work Experience: 0-6 months related hospital or retail pharmcy experience or successful completion of Pharmacy Technician program.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Working knowledge of pharmacy computer software including order entry, ADC's (automated dispensing cabinets), unit-dose packaging and pharmacy inventory retrieval systems. Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Ability to prioritize and organize work in an effective and efficient manner. Ability to be detail-oriented as required in the examination of clinical and numerical data. Ability to type or perform data entry.
