Tecnhical Designer - Knits (cuts & Sewn)

Job Description: The selected canditate will interpret and translate the vision of the head designer into techical sketches  and detail of specifications from first fit samples through production, ensuring brand integrity throughout the fit development process. Among other duties, this position creates and maintains complete and accurate technical packs, which include sketches, size specs, contrusction details, bill of material and any other necessary information.

Requirements: Degree in Design, Technical Design. Pattern, or equivalent. Minimum 3 years technical design experience with knit products. Knowledge in software's PDM and CAD. Experienced in the fashion industry with a high sense of creativity, imagination, esthetic balance and proportion. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. The selected candidate must be team-oriented, a multi-tasker, a self-starter, and able to work under pressure with minimum supervision and will need to be available to work extended hours. Proficiency in English and Spanish, Mandarin being a plus and in computer software, i.e. Microsoft Office, PDM.
