Technical Marketing at Brocade is a dynamic exciting environment where marketing hype meets reality. The team is comprised of the solutions lab, pre-sales support, competitive analysis, and partner interoperability teams that help drive Brocade solutions from early release through the technical sales cycle, to proof-of-concept, through to deployed solutions. The team develops solutions, support field sales and system engineers with technical information, testing, and proof-of-concepts, and then documents these concepts into presentations, white papers, books, videos, and guides.

The technical marketing team is looking for strong technology experts to join our team. The individuals will work in various departments within the team helping develop solutions, testing our own and competitive products, develop solutions with partners, and help with field questions in a mix of hands on and research roles. Your work will be varied and engaging as Brocade grows and launches new products and solutions and branches out into new Information Technology areas.

Typical duties will include:

·         Integrating Brocade products into Datacenter, Campus and Service Provider Solutions. These solutions can include network, storage, and applications solutions in real and virtualized IT environments.

·         Work with field teams to design and validate specific test cases to validate complex solution through a proof of concept lab.

·         Work with our partners on solution and interoperability validation then document in demos and collateral to educate our partners and their customers.

·         Evaluate Brocade technology in comparison to our competitors’ technology and create compelling sales tools that help highlight our advantages.

·         Receive incoming field questions and customer documents and help respond by providing detailed technical research, answers and documents.

·         Support staging solutions and products for tradeshows and then travel and implement and manage these systems at the show

Qualifications:

·         The candidate should be an upcoming or recent college or university graduate (within the last 3 years) with a technical Bachelors (BS) or Masters degree.

·          Relevant degrees include Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Technology Management, or equivalent. •

·         Enjoy hands on technical work and research at a product, network and solution level. •

·         Strong written and oral communication skills, critical to document and communicate the results of developed solutions. •

·         Be able to work both collaboratively and independently as needed on a variety of different projects

·         Energetic, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of different organizations and internal customers

·         Experience with networking, storage, servers, and applications in university labs, summer or full time work positions is a plus.

·         CCIE level certification (Ethernet/IP networking) or equivalent lab experience is a plus
