Technical Operations Manager

Job Description:

Under general supervision of the Technical Administrator manages the operation of Diagnostic Radiology, Special Procedures, CT, Mammography and MRI sections of Department of Radiology.
Provides daily supervision of line radiology supervisors in provision of all routine and advanced
radiologic and fluoroscopic examinations in accordance with established policies and procedures,
over sees that the Computed Radiography System (CR) is functioning properly and ensures that
all supervisors are properly in-serviced on all CR software upgrading. Prepares departmental
technologists staffing schedules. Develops operational, administrative and quality assurance /CQI
procedures and standards; schedules patient flow, particularly for special studies. Reviews and
updates all policy and procedure manuals in accordance with regulatory standards; performs quality
assurance checks; conducts staff in-service training. May perform examinations as required. Ensures
proper operation of area equipment; maintains contacts with external vendors/technicians to ensure
continues operation of area equipment. Manages provision of care to patients of all ages in the form of diagnistic testing.

Job Qualifications:

Minimum: Bachelor's, Preferred.Should also have LRT for New York State and would prefer RT/CT certification. Ideal candidate must have five (5) to seven (7) years of related experience.
