Covestic is searching for several Technical Program Managers to serve our growing business at a Fortune 500 enterprise client. Ideal candidates will have previous software development PM experience on the Microsoft-based stack for large-scale software companies.
You will be responsible for delivering a variety of SDLC and/or technical infrastructure projects. SDLC projects may include: leading a phase(s) on a product release phase, overseeing selection and assimilation of 3rd party software solutions/services, or managing the development of custom applications and tools to meet internal requirements. Infrastructure projects range from coordinating datacenter or new facility buildouts to leading consulting reviews of existing IT infrastructure and operations management.
Your ability to quickly engage in a particular project and leverage your project management AND technical skills to deliver near-term value is critical to your success in the clients fast paced, dynamic work environment. Are you up for the challenge?
' 4+ years of IT experience (with IT consulting experience strongly preferred)
' 3+ years of PM experience on a Microsoft product-stack based project
' History of delivering large, complex SDLC projects to schedule, scope and budget requirements
' PM experience in an waterfall, iterative and agile-based projects
' Ability to establish and maintain project scope based on ambiguous and dynamic requirements.
' Ability to collect and manage feature requirements
' Experience setting priorities for technical professionals
' PM experience in an agile-based development project
' Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and delegate tasks as needed
' Demonstrated knowledge of project planning, tracking and reporting
' Ability to assemble and motivate a highly productive project team.
' Demonstrated initiative, creativity, and motivation during successful projects
' Ability to facilitate group consensus and negotiate compromises.
' Familiarity with Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). PMP certification a plus.
' Strong written and verbal communication skills across business and technical audiences
' Proficient with MS Office Tools (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio) and SharePoint.
' Familiarity with development and management tools for bug tracking, ticketing, and build.

' Technical proficiency in SQL, Visual Studio, and Microsoft-stack platform and tools a plus
