Keane currently seeks a Technical Project Leader to join our team in San Jose, CA. This position will be responsible for: • Develop SAS code for implementing solutions by data import/profiling from various data sources. • Optimize performance for existing codes to balance i/o and server utilization • Build test plans to compare the results and document • iv) Run Analysis and prepare results for consumption of downstream applications. • PM/Planning/Advice: • Need resource to be able to estimate work and also provide possible implementation solutions of onshore/offshore delivery • Coordinate with offshore resource/team on delivery • Strong communication and negotiating skills • Experience in requirements gathering and analysis • Must be able to talk about Functional and business aspects of projects that you are responsible for managing. • Previous experience in working with distributed team • Working with business and cross-functional groups in both on-site and off-shore teams • Team player • Conflict Resolution • Risk Management Qualified candidates must have: • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with Cisco Director level management • SAS Advanced programmer certified • Good Experience in programming (BASE SAS, SAS Connect, SAS STAT) • Knowledge on SAS procs and Datasteps • Good Experience on SAS architecture(like BI ) and tools • Knowledge on EM and text miner is plus • Ability to handle large volume of data. • Scheduling and operational knowledge on SAS Crons or batch jobs • Good communication between team and others. • Masters in Computer science/Statistics This is a full-time salaried position with Keane. Must live within a commutable distance to San Jose, CA. Please note, 1099 or corp-2-corp contractors will NOT be considered.
